About the Farm Workers In Sunrise Farms:
As a Farm Worker at SUNRISE FARMS, you will help with the daily production and harvesting of fruits and vegetables. The work includes caring for crops, harvesting produce, grading fruits and vegetables, maintaining farm equipment and completing general farm duties.
This position is based entirely on site and may involve early-morning and weekend work. The role can be physically demanding and requires workers to perform repetitive tasks and work in different positions throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Your main duties in Sunrise Farms will be following:
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- Fertilize and spray crops
- Harvest fruits and vegetables
- Hand harvest vegetables
- Grade fruits and vegetables according to size, shape, colour and volume
- Clean greenhouses
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Perform general farm duties
- Assist with the production of blueberries and zucchinis
- Use fruit and vegetable harvesting equipment as required
